Junior Cup Series
Overview
The Junior Cup Series (JCS) is by invitation only. The Cup Series will provide an alternative opportunity to top junior golfers to hone their skills in a local competitive environment. JCS events will be submitted for the possibility of earning AJGA stars.

Invitations can be obtained by Qualifying School, Players Series Points, or local qualifiers

- AJGA Colorado Rankings – Top 40 Boys & Top 15 Girls*
- Junior Golf Scoreboard Colorado Rankings – Top 70 Boys & Top 30 Girls*
- 2024 Aurora Junior Championship Results – Boys & Girls who made the cut for final day
- 2024 CO Junior PGA Championship – Boys & Girls who made the cut for final day
- 2024 CO PGA Junior Match Play – Top 32 Boys & Top 16 Girls
- 2024 CO PGA Junior Invitational – All invited players
- 2024 CGA State Junior Championship – Top 32 Boys & Top 16 Girls
- CO PGA 2024 14-18 Junior Player Series Points List – Top 20 Boys & Top 5 Girls
- 2024 14-18 CO PGA Junior Players Series Championship - Top 2 Boys & Top 2 Girls
- CHSAA Boys and Girls State Championship
- 2A - Top 3
- 3A – Top 15 Boys & Top 5 Girls
- 4A – Top 15 Boys & Top 10 Girls

*Any Junior Golfer who lives out of state that falls above the final spot we awarded for in-state players for AJGA and JGS will also earn an invitation.
Midseason entry
Players can gain entry into the Cup series one of two ways during the season:
Q-school - two-day, 36-hole
( Spring & Fall )
- The top 20% of the field will earn their Cup series invitation
- Players will have to meet the target score to earn their spot:
- Boys - 170 or lower
- Girls - 180 or lower
Cup Qualifiers - 18-hole
( throughout the season )
- A cup qualifier will be hosted for selected Cup Series events.
- The top 6 Boys and top 3 girls that meet the set target score will earn a spot to play in the Cup Series event hosted the following week. Target score:
- Boys - 85 or lower
- Girls - 90 or lower
- If the players from the qualifier meet a target score at the Cup Series event, they will have the option to upgrade their membership for the remainder of the season. Target score at Cup Series Event:
- Boys - 165 or lower
- Girls - 180 or lower

Gaining Entry
- Player of the Year Point Standings
- Cup Series Qualifying School - 36-hole qualifying events for juniors to earn an invitation into the Cup Series.
- Local Qualifiers - These are one-day qualifiers. Local qualifiers are for Junior Player Series kids to earn spots in a specified Cup Series event. Based on results from the Cup Series event, players may earn their Cup Series invitation.
- Players Series Championship - The overall champion and runner-up for both boys and girls in the 14-18 division at the Player Series Championship will earn a membership invite into the Junior Cup Series.
- Major Championships - Player Series players will have an opportunity to qualify into the Colorado PGA Junior Majors through the qualifiers. Players Series players who make the cut to the final day or make it to the round of 16 for Match Play will earn an invite to the Cup Series.
**Membership Invitations - Players who will be earning an invitation for Cup Series Membership in 2025 will receive an email notification of the Cup Series invite when membership opens.
Yardage
Precise yardages will be available online prior to the event. Play will be from the approximate yardages of:
- Girls – Approximately 6,000 yards
- Boys – Approximately 7,000 yards

Costs
Membership fee - $200
Tournament Entry fees -
- Junior Cup Series - $215 per player per event
- Major Qualifiers - $110 per person per qualifier
- Major Championships - $245 per person per event
